The float’s empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 60 Gallon tank with have a greater fuel reserve.

Your analog fuel gauge will still be accurate after installing the tank, but your Driver Information Center computer will need to be updated with the correct fuel capacity.

Skid Plate – If you don’t have a skidplate on your truck already, no problem! But if you do, we designed the S&B Tank to allow you to reuse the factory skidplate.
